First Dose of J&J on 05/19/21 Lot #207A21A

Napa, California

42 yrs old

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was a healthy, active, happy 42-year-old woman. Also a newlywed, living a beautiful life in Napa, California. I enjoyed yoga, running, cycling, snowboarding, walking my dogs. My job as a biotech rep requires me to drive 8 hours/day and remain sharp at all times. This is no longer possible, as I have progressed to the point that I am on short-term disability. I am financially terrified that this will be permanent and hope research will be done to help everyone who is suffering. We also need to be compensated for our loss.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I had to get the vaccine to keep my job in the pharmaceutical industry. I also wanted to stop the spread of this virus.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

I received the J&J vaccine on May 19, 2021. I am not an anti-vaxxer and have been employed by the pharmaceutical industry for 18 years. Since the vaccine, I’ve experienced debilitating fatigue, sleeping at least 14 hours a day. My body aches from head to toe. I have muscle stiffness and weakness, with no relief. I am completely swollen, have gained 12 lbs., have debilitating brain fog, wake up multiple times per night in pain, cry and feel helpless. I went to the emergency room for 8 hours when I felt my internal organs were going to fall out, I was so swollen and vomiting. I had a CT scan, pelvic ultrasound, vaginal ultrasound and blood work, and released with inconclusive results. It’s been 11 months and I have had no relief.

My primary care physician ordered the appropriate bloodwork and found that my thyroid antibodies went from 200 to 1435 after getting the vaccine. I have not had the virus. I have had bloodwork every six weeks since then, with no improvement. I also now have low cortisol and adrenaline insufficiency, and despite taking 20+ supplements/day, he has diagnosed me with a vaccine induced autoimmune flare. (I have been in remission from Hashimoto’s since 2008.) My physician agrees with me that all of my symptoms are attributed to the vaccine. He is dumbfounded that all of the measures he usually takes to bring down thyroid antibodies/relief of symptoms have not worked for me. Presumably because the vaccine has permanently altered my immune system.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

I sleep a lot. I can only read a few pages of a book without falling asleep. I can’t go anywhere unless I know I will be able to nap. I feel confused. Pain throughout my entire body. Some days are better than others. < continue reading
